Annual welding calibrations and certifications are recommended to maintain ideal strength and quality of welds. Calibrations involve going through the meters and adjusting them to meet specifications. Certification creates a paper trail showing proper calibrations have been done.

It is suggested to have your welding machine calibrated annually and written into ISO specifications.
